There is also a muscle (soas) that runs from the front pelvic area, over the hip and into the lower back. I hurt mine a while back from sitting in an awkward position too long (to do quilting of all things). It took a week to settle down. It was a miserable feeling having my right side out of whack. Hopefully that's all yours is - a muscle problem. But like T-Pain said - if you have any other symptoms like blood in the urine or fever, get to your doctor.

Hello Sally419, this is T_pain, i'm having the same symptons that you were having. Iwnt to the hospital last week and they told me that they couldn't find anything, but to monitor my pain and check my urine for blood, if that happens, come back to the emergency room. Did anyone ever figure what was causing your pain?
