lower ab pain + vaginal tenderness

I've had pain around my right ovary for a few months. It feels some pressure and hurts when press the area. I had a vaginal ultra-sound a month ago and my gyn said it looked normal. However, I wonder if anyone here (have) had similar experience, since most of times ovarian cancer does not show symptoms besides abdominal pain. Maybe other organs?

I also noticed my re-curring vaginal tenderness. I don't have regular period so it's hard to tell if it's related to my cycle. It basically comes and goes. When it comes, my vagina sores and the opening looks reddish. Once there was bleeding after intercourse. I'm having heavier lumpy discharge too. So question 2: should it be a concern? Could it be yeast infection? Did anyone have similar experience?

Thank you for reading and responding!

hey im having the same problem except none of the vaginal issues, ive had a dull/achey/pressure pain on my right ovary for months also, same as you, gyn said ultrasounds were normal and i also had a cat scan done to see if it was intestinal..but it wasn't. i dont know if this is a related symptom but now im having severe tenderness to the touch near my bikini line and a little inwards on the left side it comes and goes but its very odd and i dont know if you had the same problem? or anyone? the pain is different from the ovary pain because its sharp and severe and makes it hard to stand up really straight or bend down. after a little while though its virtually gone..so weird. if anyone has had something similar please post! thanks so much!

oh also, about the ovary pain...do you have pain if you lay down and push right underneath your ribs? that has the same pain as the ovary, but its not kidney stones, gall stones, apendicitis, or gall bladder infection..i dont know if its related or another issue i need to think about!  thanks so much!

thanks for both responses. i did a pap a few months ago, when the lower abdominal pain didn't occur yet. the result was abnormal: low-grade dysplasia. i also did a colposcopy and confirmed the diagnosis. as usual, i went through all other STD tests and they were all negative. at that time, she recommended a 6-month follow-up. a few weeks after the tests, i started to feel pressure on my right ovary area. it doesn't hurt ALL the time, and it's more like pressure than acute soreness.

then i went back to my gyn and did a vaginal ultrasound. she didn't see anything. she also mentioned it could be a muscle tear-up, intestine problem or appendicitis. i don't have fever, so i don't think appendicitis is likely.

what i'm most concerned is tumor. some disease such as ovarian cancer doesn't give you any preview till it's too late.

so...any thoughts, ladies? thank you all.

First did you obgyn do a pap smear as well as the ultrasound.  And what kind of an ultra sound did they do, vaginal or regular.

How often does this occur and how long does it last?

Sounds to me like you might need a second opinion.  Specially if this has been going on for awhile.
