missed period. want to know about anyone else having tubes tied

Hello i had my tubes tied november of 2004 and i have missed this months period. i have taken many test and they have been negative. so i was wondering if anyone else has had there tubes tied and then missed a period or what could be going on. I have been stressed out lately, so i dont know what could be causing this. im not in pain.

hi im 26 my tubes were tied december 2004. i had never missed a period either. my last period was last month. i know i should get my period the 6th being the 1st day of it. now we are 5/13/09 and nothing. im stressed, tired, gaining, weight, and last month i was nauseated and vomiting. im nervous cause i do want to have another baby but what if im not.

hello im 38 having a about the same thing i have been naused , feeling bloated and looking bloated, little dizzy spells, and period on aug. 3 for my normal 3-4 days then sept. bleed a bit for one day then nothing  too 2 pg test both neg. so waiting to see what happens, no pain just naused all day.

I experienced the same thing.  It's probably stress.  My last period was March 19 I had nothing in April.  I did take 2 hpt both negative.  Finally, actually this morning it came. May 8th.  Just be patient.

I'm going through the exact same thing. I had my tubes tied in 2002 and have NEVER missed a period.  Well now I'm 4 days late, but this morning I started what I thought was my period.  It's very very dark brown and kinda think (eeewww)....but I don't know what's going on. I took an HPT yesterday which was negative.  I'm soooo confused.  Any feedback would be great!

You might think about checking in with your GYN.  He needs
to know you haven't been having any periods.  Also, he/she
might recommend a pregnancy blood test to check if you are
indeed pregnant.  Sounds like you might need an ultrasound, too.

well not to frighten you but many have become pregnant after their tubes have been tied..So i would be checking into that!
