Look I know you want your period to start since all your friends have it but when you get your first period you'll start to regret it. But anyway you will start your period anytime soon. As you described about white blood it actually isn't white blood it's white discharge. I don't know if you have learnt about the female reproductive parts or not but look I am gone explain it to you in detail. You have this thing called vagina this is where blood comes out of. Before your period starts you get white discharge this actually when your hormones clean them selves so that your period could start.. So you get the white discharge or what you said white blood before your period. Then after that you get your period. Since you are getting the white discharge you will get your period soon. Sorry that this comment is very long

Hello Althea! 11 is still early! As anniebrooke pointed out, in our days the average age of getting periods was about 13. I had got mine much earlier at 11 years old and believe me, I wish I had started slightly later. By 13 our bodies are more capable of handling the periods. Also, when the periods start, girls height growth slows down. Dont be anxious just because other girls started theirs, there is a lifetime of monthly cycles once they start. Starting a couple of years later will not be a big deal when you look back at it.

The reason why puberty age is much lower nowadays is possibly due to the estrogen rich diet that comes from dairy and estrogen fed animals, phto-estrogenic foods like soya etc.  I would urge you to relax and enjoy the carefree time while it lasts!

Oh, just to complete the thought, at mid-month if you get the ovulatory mucus, it lasts about three days and then you go back to the thinner, milky stuff.

Your periods will come when your body says it is time, in my day girls from 12 to 15 would get their period, though I did know a girl who got hers a lot earlier than that (I think she was 9!) she was the only one.

If you are having white discharge, that is a normal thing.  Your vagina is a pristine environment and cleans itself, most of the month you can expect something like possibly a quarter of a teaspoon of thin, milky colored fluid that dries either slightly yellowish white or slightly greenish white.  It should not smell particularly.  At mid-month once you begin to ovulate, your discharge will turn thicker, very clear (like raw eggwhite) and stretchy.  If you see the clear stuff, you can expect your periods to begin, since ovulation is the lead-in to a period coming.

If your breasts have begun to develop (they can feel different, like harder inside under the nipples) and your underarm hair has begun to grow, you are pretty much on schedule.
