The reason I asked your age, was to establish whether you are reaching the menopause.  But in your case it is unlikely.

Follow the advice I have given you in my previous reply and see your doctor if there is no improvement after a couple of cycles.

Best wishes.

Is this the first time that it has come so soon after the last period?

You do not say how old you are.

To come so soon after the last period is not normal.
Keep a record of your periods for the next couple of periods and if things do not settle go and see your doctor with your menstrual cycle chart.

Periods that come irregularly, can be due to a hormone imbalance, polycystic ovary syndrome, anaemia and other problems.

If you are not eating well and have become anaemic that can mess up periods.  Also if you are under a lot of stress.

Make sure you are eating a good healthy balanced diet with fresh fruit and veg, milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt (of course omit stuff that you have an allergy to).  You may benefit from a multi-vitamin with iron.
Make sure your drink water so that you do not become dehydrated.

Best wishes.
