amber2009--probably normal, after stopping bc pills it took a few days for my period to start. Call your doctor if you are really concerned.

I've had the NuvaRing in for 5 days.  My milk supply has almost stopped completely.  I read that a reduction in Milk production is one of the side effect.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Thanks

this is from the site itself......    http://www.nuvaring.com/Consumer/user/patientSupport/nuvaRingHelp/index.asp

Out for less than three hours: If it does slip out, and if it has been out less than three hours, you should still be protected from pregnancy. Rinse NuvaRing®  with cool-to-lukewarm (not hot) water and re-insert it as soon as possible, at the latest within three hours. If you've lost NuvaRing®, you must insert a new contraceptive ring and stay on the same schedule you would have followed if you were still using the lost ring.

hope this helps you out

No, you have 3 hours to wash it off with warm water and place it back in.
