I don't think every woman experiences spotting after a d&c. I had a d&c June 10. I spotted that day and then a couple days later I spotted a little off and on for a couple of days. It was nothing much. I would think that the fact that your hcg is back down is a good sign that the miscarriage is over and hopefully you will get your first period soon. I got my first period exactly 5 weeks after my d&c (just over 4 weeks after my spotting). If you are really concerned, you could call your doctor's office and ask them if you should have spotted more. Good luck!
