non-stop bleeding for 2 months

Hi
i am only 19 years old and have been having irregular periods that have been lasting for weeks at a time with only a few days break. at the moment i have been bleeding for two months and it hasn't slowed down at all and i haven't had any pain with it either.
Don't know if this helps but i have a blood disorder called 'Thrombocytopenia' but i dont know whether this causes the bleeding, any ideas of what could be causing this to put my mind at ease as i dont really want to go to the docters in case its bad news :(
thanks

Well this started back in April I want to say the 3rd week in April I had just started a new job and was in training I was at work and felt funny and thought maybe it was my period since thats around the time I would get it.Well I was spotting but then It stopped and was very light until NOW,Now it seems to be way out of control HEAVY bleeding and sometimes HUGE clots the size of my fist and they are scaring me.Now in past history I had a ruptured cyst on my left ovary that I had surgery on  back in 2009.I do get slight pelvic pains when Im sleeping flat on my back what can be the cause of this?
