perineum sore

I had sex with my boyfriend who I have been with a long time and this is the only time this has happened.. I have a red cut on my perineum that almost looks like my skin was rubbed off.. it hurts extremely bad.. could it be a tear from having sex? where would it be and what would it look like if it was a tear??

I'm very cautious about putting anything at all down there because I have sensitive skin.  The one thing I did do which seemed to help until i got to the doc was a small dab of triple antibiotic on the cuts. I also DO NOT wear thongs anymore...ever. Cotton panties in the day and nothing at night. That is my best suggestion.

it could definitely be either from the friction of your encounter w/ your b/f, a skin reaction or allergy, yeast, or bacteria.  I had multiple cuts on the same area and I really want you to go to the doctor ASAP so it doesn't get worse. Many women have this problem once, occasionally, or sometimes every month. write back if you want to know more...i don't want to overload you but am happy to help. =)
