As the gynaecologist has said that all is fine with the ultrasound results, they you do not have polycystic ovaries or fibroids.  If there is a problem they usually tell you what it is and what can be done.

Stress and anxiety can cause periods to be erratic.
Also if you are not eating well, and have become anaemic that can cause heavy or missed periods.
Thyroid and a hormone imbalance can also affect the menstrual cycle.

I would advise you to see your doctor to get your blood testes for anaemia, thyroid problems and hormone balance.

If a problem is found with the blood tests the doctor will be able to prescribe the right medication for you.  Iron tablets if you are anaemic.

Although you are 30, perimenopause can't be ruled out until you get your blood results.

Make sure you eat a healthy balanced diet and cut down on the junk food, alcohol and fizzy drinks.  Also make sure you drink enough water every day 2-3 litres is normally recommended, so that you do not get dehydrated.

Iron rich foods, are all offal (kidneys, heart, liver) dark greens, spinach, egg yolk, cereals are fortified with iron.

Best wishes.

As your ultrasound scan on your womb results were fine, then you have no polycystic ovaries or fibroids etc. otherwise they wouldn't have said everything was fine.

Stress and anxiety can cause erratic periods.
Also if you are run down and anaemic that can cause very heavy or missed periods as also can an imbalance in your hormone levels.

Although you are 30, perimenopause also should not be ruled out as a possibility.

In the first instance, go and see your doctor so that he can take a blood test to check for anaemia, thyroid problems and hormone imbalance.

Make sure you eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water so as not to get dehydrated.  Wait for the doctor's blood test results to see if you anaemic.  If you are, he will be able to prescribe iron tablets as well as any other medication that may be required.

Best wishes.

This intermenstrual  can be spotting due to hormonal imbalance. Other causes can be hormonal imbalance(can be due to PCOS),hypothyroidism, cigarette smoking or underlying Chlamydia infection while on birth control, ectopic pregnancy. You should get it evaluated from your doctor and start with the treatment if the repeat happens.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
