pregnacy question

I am on Yasmin Birthcontrol, the last month I have been on antibiotic. My boyfriend and I have still been sexually active not using protection besides my birthcontrol. The last few days I have been pretty run down and this afternoon shortly after eating I felt so sick. I went outside for fresh air and felt like I was boiling hot ran back in and threw up. The sick feeling soon subsided but it made me question wether there is a chance of being pregnant or not. I am still taking my birthcontrol everyday. Should I be worried? Or am I being a little silly. Please give some advice. I dont want to run out and buy an expensive pregnacy test if not needed

Antibiotics render birth control ineffective, so, yes you could certainly be pg.  Take a test!

I use Answer brand and they're only about $8 for 2 tests.

I just went on antibiotics myself and am on Ortho Evra. I asked the pharmacist and she said that you only have to use backup contraception for 2 weeks (it was a 5 day dose) and that according to the research, antibiotics don't do too much to renderring your birth control ineffective, but that was probably just the kind of antibiotic I had. Definatly take a pregnancy test.
