red, swollen, sores, itchy, vulva with no discharge
So for the last 6 months I have had an randomly itchy clitoris. Then 6 days ago it became unbearably itchy. I mean stay awake and cry. I bought and used a monistat 1 day kit. That nite I was still super itchy. The next day I bought and used vagisil cream. Finally on the third nite I got sleep. Then the swelling started. My vulva has swollen to 3-4 times normal. The morn of fourth day I noticed raw red oozy/wet patches. I attributed it to my scratching. But these were not tears. The itching by this point has subsided. So I started applying aloe gel with. 5% lidocaine. This is a miracle as it numbs very nicely. It is now day 7 and I have even more raw spots, and it now really hurts to pee. Like after giving birth. I am 36 yrs old 3 children 15-18 yrs old. I have experienced yeast infections previosly. Also by late in day 3 I had peeling of the exterior vulva skin. On day 2 the itchy was unbearable and I was dumb and tried a home remedy I read all over online. I mad a STRONG saltwter solution and dpped a clean cloth in it and placed on my vulva for abou 10 min burned like wouldnt believe but did help give relieve to the itching.
Swollen evenly over the whole area. The raw red patches are random, but seem to be in places/areas I have scratched or rubbed during itchu stages.
As far as I can tell there is no "bumps" or raised areas. It is just swollen and raw in places almost as if it was burned. I am wondering if the strong salt water compress may have burned me?
Also for the last 48 hrs I have been underwear frere with a light airy cotton skirt. Also I have been taking acidophilus psupplements morning n nite
A little more info. I have been with the same man for 12+ years. The saltwater solution was aprox 1/3 c up seasalt in 2 cups water. I have not cheated on him. He says and I believe him that he has not cheated on me. He knows I am going to the dr. Tmrw and if its an std I would find out. Also I am smoker. I have been appling the lidocaine sunborne gel bout every 3 hrs. The swelling did not get extreme until the saltwater.
