Hi!
Provera is a prescription drug. It is not advisable to use it without your doctor’s prescription, even though it may be available otherwise. Also, it is not good to be not having your periods for 7 months in a row. You need to find out why you are facing this problem as this can cause fertility related and other issues.
If you have been on provera in the past, then probably this is the reason for absent periods. The hormones in provera have probably suppressed your pituitary to release the hormones necessary for maintaining normal menstruation. So, please consult your doctor first. You would need to undertake a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy before your doctor can decide whether you can continue with provera or not. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
