My friend said if you worry more about your period it will come later. Is this complete fiction?

okay... if stress can alter your menstration dates, is it possible to be 20 days late and not be pregnant. the EPT said i wasn't, I'm still paranoid.

No - it's true. Stress is a major factor in hormonal changes throughout your body. It can bring on periods or delay them or generally make them erratic or irregular. Even little stresses like moving house or starting a new job etc can cause your body's clockwork to shift slightly. I guess it's mother nature's way of making sure we are in the best possible state of health/mental wellbeing before releasing an egg that could possibly be fertilised and grow into a baby!
