smells down there
I haven't had sex for over a year and I smell down there, even when I'm sitting it does and gets worst when I stand, why is this? How can I get rid of it? It's not really a fishy smell but it's kind of gross smelling, never had a yeast infection or unprotected sex. Any ideas?
Thanks for the info, I will make a doctor's appointment as soon as I can, I wasn't sure what the normal was if it was or not.

From your symptoms there is a possibility that this is due to bacterial vaginosis. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by metronidazole((Flagyl, MetroGel) and clindamycin (Cleocin) which are available under prescription. They are available as pills or vaginal gels or creams. Please do not use any vaginal douches.
