About 2weeks ago I had unprotected with an ex and I feel so disgusting and ashamed for my actions, I asked him if he was clean of course he said yes. Since then I've come down with strep throat and have been taking penicillin for about a week and it has caused me to have a bad yeast infection, now I haven't treated the yeast yet because Im still taken the meds and I don't another one to come back. So with that being said when I went to the restroom the other morning which was on a sunday, I noticed there was blood on the toilet paper and I'm not on my period, so I got a mirror and I noticed I had to cracks or paper cut like long line above the hood of my clitoris, they weren't very inflamed jus a lil red and it itch but the next day it went away, so now I'm a lil scared now because I've read online it could be herpes. Since reading my anxiety has been getting the best of me. I'm not sure if this is happening because of the yeast or is it an std.

I've also been taking birth control pills for the past month not sure if that would affect anything..

Ok so I recently had a yeast infection due to taking penicillin for strep throat, and my the yeast infection being so bad after a couple of days I noticed a funny smell down there "Very Fishy " so I went to planned parenthood and was told I have BV, now that I'm done with the med, I started my period and I noticed that when using a tampon it was really uncomfortable for me and it kinda hurt a lil bit, so I used a pad but now I'm scared I need to go back to planned parenthood again because I normally wear tampons not sure why it hurts now. Can somebody help plz..

I'm proud of you. Thank you for the update too. We here at MedHelp are genuinely concerned.
  There are non latex condoms available everywhere. They used to be a novelty, but now they also have them in large & extra large.
   With anxiety as high as yours, I'd like to see you use these products.
I know a couple & the husband contracted a yeast infection from his wife. Besides what your doctor gives you, try drinking Camiolle Tea. Drink lots of water. Avoid coffee & sugar.  Get well & have a nice Holiday. Pamela

Also I've been having a lot of discharge to the point I have to wear a pantie liner. Also I have another question my last period was on Oct 29 and I haven't had one since, I went to have a pap on Dec 9 and my Dr. placed me on B-control to regulate my cycle, I started that day and I've been cramping so bad and spoting but no period and on top of that the yeast infection smh too much going on with my body. Had sex Dec 2, diagnosis with strep throat Dec 6 and started penicillin, went to planned parenthood and had pap Dec 9 was told I have yeast infection and everything else normal because they haven't called me. Too much stress and anxiety caused me TMJ.
