swollen clitoris

on occasion, most often after i've been horseback riding, my clitoris swells up. i don't have a gynecologist, and i

it's not always this time though, - today i was sitting at my computer typing and that irritated it. it's not the actual clitoris, but the lips that run down to the vagina - i don't know what they're called, but it's the the inner lips, not the outer part - and it's only the left side. it's filled with just regular clear fluid, not blood or pus. It just swells up randomly and is very uncomfortable.

and i don't just mean mild swelling people. When it swells up, it's twice as big as it should be, no joke, and walking hurts because it is to large to be concealed undaer the vulva lips. it happens very rarely. i thought at firsthat the horseback riding and bouncing around in the saddle would irritate it, but not this much.

There is next to impossible that i have an STD - the only guy i've had sex with was a virgin and we used a condom, so no STDs here, lol.

so...has anyone had this before, even a minor case of it? i'd like to try and figure something out before it happens again. it's more annoying that anything else, but still.

i masterbate regularly with a high frequency vibrator - would that have an effect on it too?

Oh, and the medical term for lips is labia.  Inner labia and outer labia.

There are conditions women can get such as Bartholin's cyst or abscess.  There is surgery to correct the problem.  It's not all that uncommon.  Here is a great article:
