uterus pain 4 days after sex

Okay. I had sex with my girlfriend 4 days ago and today she said that she was having pains consistent with period pains just without the bleeding. She takes birth control and hasnt missed any pills. And when we had sex it didnt last long, only a couple of minutes and neither one of us finished, we just stopped. I wasnt really into it because I have an ulcer in my stomach that was killing me at the time and I couldnt get all the way erect. We both highly doubt it could be pregnancy. I havent been with anyone else and as far as I know neither has she. So we doubt it could be an std either. She has cysts in her ovaries that she actually takes the birth control for, and she believes that this may be the cause but she is not sure. But what she says is that she is experiencing period pains without the period, as well as pain in her crotch. Now we had issues in the past and we havent had sex in about 8 months and she thinks that maybe after not having sex in so long and then suddenly having sex after all that time may have something to do with it. Im not trying to get so personal but I feel all the information needs to be shared in order to get an accurate answer. What could it be? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you doctor for the primpt rwply. It turned out to be a cyst that burst. She seems to be doing fine now. I guess it is a problem that she has from time to time. Again, thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This pain can be due to ovarian cysts. Mostly they are symptomless But Ovarian cysts can, however, cause problems if they twist, bleed, or rupture. Most ovarian cysts will go away on their own.
However for the cramping get pain killers prescribed from a gynecologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
