vagina =(

i went to visit my boyfriend and before that i started having this problem where my pee started smelling strange nothing wrong besides that but it just had this smell. i made a doctors apt to talk about that but while i was with my bf we had sex and usually from having to much sex my vagina gets sore and it goes away after a few days but this time it hasn't gone away. i got back and i started my period and it hurt just to put tampons in. like really bad. when my period ended it just itches and is red and sore. i bought some vagisil and it works but only for an hour or so tell it drys and then it starts to hurt all over again.  i don't really have a discharge that is different then the discharge i've had my whole life but i was thinking that maybe i have a yeast infection. my hormones have been everywhere lately and i have been really stressed with moving and stuff. and i really haven't got a lot of sleep. but then i don't know if i should take over the counter quick fixes for yeat infections because wat if i have BV there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between those symptoms and i don't want to make the pain worse. i just want the pain to go away. my doctors apt is friday but i'm too scared and embarrassed to talk to him about this.

I would get checked by the Doc to stop needless worrying.
You may have thrush and need medication.
Also drinking URAL and taking Cranberry Capsules can help with the 'smelly urine'.
Usually it means you have a urinary tract infection but in this case may just be a simple case of cystitis.
Get it checked and dont be worried about what the Doc thinks.
Usually a urine test can detect a UTI.
