Hello,
Vaginal varicose veins present as discomfort or pain in the vulva or vagina, particularly when standing or after sexual intercourse. As the condition worsens, and the veins get larger, they become more obvious. Grade 2 varicose veins can be seen bulging through the mucosa of the vulva of vagina. You should get it examined from a gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Hi thanks for answering to my post. I have had it for around 4 weeks now. I have not noticed any changes it has remained exactly the same. I did some research and came across vaginal varicose veins which are very similar in color to the thing I have. Should I consult my gynecologist or dermatologist??
This could be a bruise. You should keep an eye on it. If you notice changes in the mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.
