This is sooo the same like mine.  I always have yellowish greenish discharges all the time like literally all the time. And it's uncomfortably itchy. I did see the doctor last year and he just prescribed me antibiotics as he said I have an infection. Go see your doctor dear.  GOodlUck :)

That colour defiantly is not normal. Discharge doesn't stop when you get your period. It will eventually get lighter and you will begin to notice it less. But when your still young, discharge can vary in color and texture. If it is itchy or sore or smells unusual then you could have an infection. You should go see your gynecologist right away. Has it always been that color? Or did it recently change? Because when vaginal discharge changes color it is usually because of an underlying infection. Emotional stress, a tampon or foreign body left in the vagina, or ovulation. But to prevent excess discharge, keep your genital area, clean and dry, and do not 'douche' (washing the inside of the vagina with various solvents, such as vinegar, scented soaps etc.) As this can increase chances of infection. If you are that uncomfortable with it, wear panty liners as they absorb moisture. But green/yellow discharge is mostly a sign of infection.
Good luck.

Who told you green/yellow discharge was normal? Whitish/yellow is normal, whitish/clear is normal; even yellow is normal, but green/yellow is a prominent indicator of a chronic bacterial infection, a foul odor further indicates bacteria. You need to see your doctor or gynecologist for evaluation and anti-biotics.
