This happened to me. My boyfriend & I haven't had sex in a couple of weeks & our friend kept walking in, so it was pretty dry due to constant interruption. Like I said, we hadn't done it in a while, so we went at it like jack rabbits. Plus, we didn't use a rubber. When we finished my vagina was really sore; when i touched it, it stung a little & the lips were swollen. The swelling has gone down a little, but not much & it only hurts when I have my legs together. It looks like a weird waddle when I walk & I can't lay down normally, my thighs can't be touching or it's sore again.

i reccomend using ice, ice should bring down the swelling and also cool the rawness. ice seems to work for alot of things whether its a sprained ankle or something such as this, it always soothes pain and swelling. so either get something that frozen or put ice in something like a ziplock bag and use that.
i believe the swelling was due to the friction and irritation of the sensitive skin, and i agree with the last comment about lubrication..

Dry, rough sex cannot be good on the vagina so it's not a surprise to me that it is swollen.  I would give sex a rest for the next few days and see if the swelling goes down.  I would also suggest that if wetness is a problem, there are some pretty good lubrications on the market these days.
