watery blood clotts after period
i had my period last month from may 18 till the 29th,watery and heavy no cramps,but the last three days has clotts. my period already ended,but today watery flows and tiny clotts came out from me.i am wondering am i menopausing? because i am 42 y.o since i became 40 me period last up to ten days or almost two weeks. but not every month.i hope you could help me. thanks much

These symptoms can be due to perimenopause but other causes of metrorrhagia should also be ruled out. Various factors causing it are endometriosis,ectopic pregnancy,hormone imbalance,endometrial hyperplasia,polyps,use of IUD’s and depo shots, sexually transmitted diseases,PCOS and benign and malignant pathologies of the uterus. You should get these causes evaluated from your gynecologist.
