Recent studies have shown yogurt/acidophilus actually doesn't work. Definitely go with the OTC meds instead :-)
how does the plain yogurt work? I am not currently experiencing symptoms but i know its there from the red ness. and for like an hr or so it was itchy... that was it.
sometimes it can go away on its own, but most often not. they're itchy terrible things, so i wouldn't want to leave it untreated if i were you! pick up some monistat, or even try a home treatment like plain yogurt, and get some relief.
