yeast infections smell like yeast or bread baking NOT fishy! STD also don't give you fishy smells. Odds are you have BV as mentioned by fission. I got it from using pearl tampons out of all things (I didn't realize they were scented.) Call your doctor, they will check if it's BV and get you treated with a round of antibiotics.

hey there. sounds like you need to visit the gyno. i say this because you need to be diagnosed with something instead of assuming what it is. as you become more familiar with your body, you may be able to decipher what you have or not. the fishy smell that you mention is often associated with bacterial vaginosis which needs to be treated with antibiotics in gel form. some people think you can only get it being sexualy active, but that isnt true.
if you don't go to the doc to either find out what you really have or get bv treated (if that is what it is) it will not go away on its own. It will progressively get worse and cause you much grief and embarrassment.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection. They have over the counter creams that will make it go away. It can also be an STD and should be checked by a Gynecologist.
