my sister works in a care home. she said she thankfully does nights [ night shift] as her work mates are fine but the day staff r very bitchy. her friend also left her job over it. Ridiculous!!!!!!! everyone has a right to earn a living. lifes hard enuf without that crap!

i would ask your boss y he/she said this to you. the reason i personally think that this was said was because your boss knows that your duties are limited now and maybe dont want the other workers thinking your getting special treatment as amielou said care homes are bitchy. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats :) no idea why your boss would say that? Some care homes are quite bitchy though sometimes. What symptoms did you get and when? Been trying for a few months and period due tomo, have sore boobs today but only if I touch them otherwise they are just a bit achy.

Ive been told by my manager not to tell the staff yet as im only 4 weeks does anyone know the reason for this?

you wont be able to lift anything heavy or manovoure people too much especially if there heavy in weight.
