My doctors wants me to find out if GM related to smoking cigarettes.

Thanks for your answers.

There is scientific evidence that it may be linked to smoking. What sort of doctor tells a patient to find out?? I've a medical degree, so can criticise!

So stop smoking, use electronic cigs..

Smoking will also make any good surgeon think twice about operating for GM (since it does delay healing, more risky for generals etc)... however, I've jokingly (while being somewhat serious) told my team of doctors that I'll quit once this is all resolved... lol

Smoker, have been since I was "legal". My doctor doesn't think that it's the cause for GM, but as we all know, it does slow/hinder a healing process!

I don't smoke. I even stay away from second-hand smoke.

I don't think smoking causes GM, but it probably contributes to delayed healing and increased inflammation and toxin build-up.
