Hello Jojo, Pandora, Red, Aug, and Suzanne
Thank you for your concern and advices.
On Monday, I developed the fever of 103. In the evening, I called my surgeon.  She prescribed me clindamycin.  Prior to that, I had developed a little fever rash.  But, I immediate took the clindamycin and went to my husband 's clinc for an extra shot of antibiotic shot..I think it was called sulfa shot...not sure...
Anyway, tuesday morning, I woke up withe severe rashes from head to toe plus a fever of 103 again. I called my surgeon. Than she told me to see her that afternoon.  As I went to her, she made a 1.5cm insertion on my abscess and drained out 1 cup of fluids. Than, she cleaned with salin and packed with a strip gauze. (soooo extreme painful)
My fever didn't come back afterwards. Also, my rash is better with benedral. But, I will have to go to her for salin wash, draining and repacking everyday for a week.....pain.......
However, I did feel better with the inflammation and the swelling and the fever......
Yay on that....thank you for all of your prayers.....
Please pray for courage with the pain.....I'm really not that great with this type of pain!...and thinking one week of this suffering just makes my day blue.....

Tiffany-Have you ever been tested for mono? Some women with GM are also positive for mononucleosis (this was the case with me). Certain antibiotics (amoxicillin and some others Im not quite sure of) given to a patient with mono can cause a rash and fever. Definitely you should see someone ASAP, but this is what happened to me just two weeks ago. Best of luck, I hope you are feeling better soon.

Hi Tiffany
Wow!! I do get fever but that's  when I know I have infection
I also get rashes,  just on my arms. It feels and looks like
heat rash. The dr's said it could be my hormones? It
comes and goes it so strange!!
I'm praying for you and your Doctor for much wisdom.
I know this is all so hard but hold on to the promise that
this to shall pass. Peace and Grace to your body, soul
and mind in the name of Jesus.

I agree you should be seen asap I don't think a reaction would cause a fever. Keep us updated.

I too think it sounds like an infection. I was hoping you could have gotten in early to your surgeon...but you see her tomorrow and that can't be too soon. I didn't realize you were on an anti-biotic. When did you go on one? What are you on? A lot of people have rash like reactions to sulfa drugs.
I did get a rash after going off prednisone, but it didn't last a long time. Some times a rash can be your body purging toxins...where is your rash?
Please keep us posted.

I am a little worried that you might have an infection, do you have the fever right now?  If so, please go get checked out asap - I would also call the doctor or pharmacist about rash - could be allergic reaction as you say, but you need it checked out.

I can't remember if your breast is open, but if you have just developed these symptoms I would see doctor or go to emergency asap - just to be safe.  I believe in being over-cautious, particularly with feve and possible drug reaction.

please let us know what happens Tiffany - thinking of you, Jo
