Significant hair loss?

So shortly after getting GM I started to lose hair but in the past month I noticed I lose soooooooooooo much more hair now.  My bangs are very thin.  Anyone else experiencing this? I realize you lose hair when you're stressed but I don't feel like I'm as stressed now as I was when I first got GM so I'm not sure where it's coming from.

Oh, that is good to hear that your hair is growing back! Mine, not-so-much. : (  I talked to my doctor about the hair loss and asked if fighting this infection could cause it, she said absolutely. It's been going on a year for me.
I love my medical doctors and asked about what they thought about me seeing a naturopath. They thought it wouldn't hurt at all, maybe build up the immune system, eat better etc... But I'm feeling a lot better these days. My last surgery on the left breast was 3 weeks ago. So far so good. My right breast has been infection free for 4 months.
Also so good to hear of someone who is healed! Very encouraging. Thanks! L

Hi Laurel, I stopped losing my hair, not sure when it stopped.  But then it started to grow back, haha.  I laugh because I went through stages where it was short and stood straight up! Especially my bangs.  My hair was awkward for many months but I think I'm out of that phase now.  I think not may have been because of stress, lack of vitamins, etc.

As for my breast, I am healed.  I healed last year Sept/Oct.  It has officially been 1 year, yay!  My GM only lasted about 9-10 months.  I started my natural healing path 4 months in, so I tell people that I healed in 5 months.  No reoccurrence of GM.  How are you?

Yes, I have experienced a significant amount of hair loss too. So much so that I need to wear a wig now.

How are you feeling now? Have you had any recurrence of IGM?

Veronica, I live in Hawaii and we don't have much change in our seasons.  I started losing a scary amount of hair too but if anything, it started over the summer.  Spring, Fall and Winter for us is a more rainy season, and summer more hot and sunny.  I guess it could be a change of season, but actually my co-worker brought up something to me that made a little sense, he said that due to my recent weight loss, I could be losing hair because I don't have enough of the vitamins and nutrients in my body.  In April I started following the PALEO diet and I have lost 30 pounds since I started with GM in December.  I am down to 105 lbs.  I recently started taking DoTerra's Lifelong Vitality pack, its like a multivitamin, so I'm gonna see if it helps with the hair loss and nutrition overall.  I also plan to meet with my naturopoath doctor to discuss meal plans or ideas to make sure I am getting enough nutrition in the diet I am following.

If I am not wrong you are not taking medications, so are you sure is not the change of season? I mean last Autumn I lost a lot of hair  (like scary amount) and now you can see loads of short hair growing back.
Take care!
