Just need someone for support

I have an eating disorder that gets triggered when I'm anxious and depressed. I don't feel that I can open up to anyone close to me, so I thought maybe someone on here could sort of be my support system. I have tried the other forum about eating disorders, but no one has really answered to me on there.

Please let me know if you mind listening.

Hello, I just joined on here myself and I saw your question was the last posted before mine. I figure if I expect anyone to be willing to help me out, I should be willing to help others right? I would be glad to. If your still looking for support let me know. Maybe we have had some similar experiences, or maybe a different perspective would help. Best wishes. JB.

I get what you're saying about having trouble opening up to people close to you. I have the same problem. Like I have friends but sometimes I feel they just want to hang out when everything is all good. I'm not saying everyone. Maybe its my own issues not really them or the impression I get. I don't know. So sometimes I feel like maybe talking here or maybe with a few people who are really close not just people you hang out with but people who are your best friends or family or something. Still sometimes it's easier to talk to people you don't know. At least I feel. Also sorry you are having problems with binge eating. Also maybe here you will find some support as well. Take care.

Wow, good memory indeed! You are right about me being a sensitive person. It is definitely a downfall most of the time. I watched the video and it was very nice:) Thank you for sending that to me. I've been binge eating a lot lately, and I'm quite disgusted with myself. It's been happening too often and I just wish I could stop

It was indeed a reply to you back in Dec.30th.
Talk about having a good memory, but rather short sometimes!

Hey vanillacandles.

You must be a very sensitive person, judging from how you feel.
It is a very nice quality, yet at the same time, be like a curse for you.
Am I right with my observation?
Please tell me more about your eating disorder, if you're up to it.

Did you get a chance to watch the video?
Let me know if you liked it.

By the way , I think I came across you at another post or another forum
if you were using the same name. That was in the last 2 months.
Just can't remember any details. It was not a reply directly to you, otherwise I would have remembered.
Have a nice weekend.

Blessings

Thank you Nikodicretai. I completely agree with what you said about friends. I think that has a big part in why I have this eating disorder. I just feel like no one can take the time and ask how I am. It's always about them, and they can be quite selfish at times. I also am ashamed to tell people close to me in fear that I'll hurt them if I tell them, and I don't want that. I think eventually I will open up, but I think only afte r I overcome this battle. I'm also just disgusted with myself in general

Hey vanillacandles.

No problem. I'm cool with that.
It's a tough situation for you to be in. And  I find that it is becoming more complicated
to open up to people close to us. Some are too busy with their lives, some are friends only when things are cool and fun , and some others simply don't  inspire you enough to open up to them.
I don't want to ask you a bunch of questions, right from the start.
I'm quite knowledgeable in many areas of health, so as you give me more details
about your situation, or ask questions, I will be able to give you  some suggestions.

Something that will give you a little "lift".
Here is a link to "Justin Hines" and his song "Courage" on youtube :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwoUM8ETFfk
I've seen him in concert a 10 days ago, and sent the link to a few people.
Very inspiring. Justin was born with a genetic joint condition that renders him disabled, yet he managed to turn it around and pursue his life's passion: music. He sings, writes his own music and his own lyrics. And he's so inspiring and humble as well. Hope you like it.

So post again soon, and I'll reply promptly.
Hang in there, stay strong and have "Courage".
( I"ll send you some Healing Energy to help you!-I work with Energy doing all sorts of stuff)

Blessings
