how to help reluctant mental problems?

hello I am a 20 year old male with some health concerns. For the past year I have had troubles with sleeping I will not sleep for days at a time and other times I will sleep for 16+ hours even a day at a time. The past months my mood has been irregular some days I feel depressed and others over active. I also have tendencies for violent rage which is odd because I am not a very emotional or angry person. Lots of time the rage will be random and overwhelming. I am not using any drugs or medications so this behavior is disturbing me.

I am not one to worry about my health if anything I will avoid doctors. I really believe that most problems can be solved solely but at this point I really feel unnatural. I can't really see a doctor right now but I would like some insight on my issues to find out the importance of a doctors.

Hi !
Delusions, paranoia, and hallucinations can occur when sleep deprived.
Your immune system needs to be re-charged,  hormonal functions need to be restored because your mental  and physical  health will be will be affected.
You cannot go on without sleeping days at a time! Our biology cannot support such a situation without a major breakdown.
The big question is: Are all your other symptoms you're experiencing because of sleep deprivation? Or is your sleep deprivation a symptom as well?
And if it is, can you relate to the comments by Vanillacandles about possible Bipolar?
It is nice to avoid doctors if you can, however, there are times where you have no choice .
And I think you're at a time of your life, where you need to checked by a doctor.

Sure you can take natural remedies like, Valerian tea to help you sleep, Saint John's Wort for depression. Do exercise,do meditation. Avoid alcohol, sodas, caffeine. Eat healthy fresh foods and drink enough filtered water. Do conscious deep breathing 20-30 minutes daily.
However, even if I'm a big proponent of holistic and natural methods, please do yourself a big favor and visit your doctor soon!

Was there any significant event, that took place before all this started?
If there's a trigger to this what could it be? Is there any mental history in your family (that includes you)? Did you experience any major disappointment the year before this started?

Please post again answering the above questions and anything else that may shed some light.

Blessings,
Nikodicreta

Welcome!  Here's an easy recipe for anything you want! Just put your greatest  attention and intention into it!.

"I'm willing to do
whatever it takes,
no matter what,
to make myself
better and better.
Everyday and Everyway".

Repeat 108 consecutive times daily!  Minimum 21 days. Optimum 40 days. And mean it each time!

To remove obstacles repeat the following Mantra also 108 consecutive times daily. Same as above.
"Om, gom, gunna patayei Namaha"     It is in Sanskrit. If interested in more Mantras
check Deva Premal's - "Mantras for precarious times".

If something happens and you miss a day, it's your Ego interfering with your Spirit.
You must start from the beginning again.

Next post will be on  your health issue.
Vanillacandles message makes a lot of sense.

Blessings,
Nikodicreta

Hi Badfranklin,

I'm not sure if you're still using this site, but if you are, I have a couple of questions.

It seems like you are very troubled with what has been happening to you mentally and physically. Does anyone in your family have bi-polar? Have you thought of going to a doctor and getting tested for specific mental health issues?

From what I'm hearing, you may have a form of bi-polar. I hope this doesn't overwhelm you or make you feel any worse about things. I'm just thinking it may have something to do with this from the way you've described things.
