Does this deficiency cause EXTREME hunger?

I am ravenous, never ever full....and i am gaining a lot of weight. I tried calorie counting, carb reducing, and I just give up after a week because I am so starving.

I am 1 month in for my vitamin d treatment. I take 50,000 I.U's once a week of D2 for 8 weeks. The first week, I noticed days when my hunger was not a big deal, a meal would actually fill me! I was excited....but since then I am back to ravenous.

Anyone else deal with this??

I also suffer from extreme hunger! I have weighed 110lbs  all of my adult life and suddenly gained 30lbs in the last 6 months. I was diagnosed with vitamin d deficiency (level 13) last week. I also noticed after taking the first pill I felt less hungry. I also saw a study from Oregon Health & Science University that confirmed a relation between obesity and vitamin d deficiency.

I have been starving all the time. I haven't started treatment yet so I am not sure if that will help it subside

Hope you feel less hungry soon
