Virgo Wart Remover

My cousin and brother had large warts all over their hands and fingers when we were kids. I developed a few small ones several years after they began to struggle with theirs.  My cousin's mom worked at a University and had access to liquid nitrogen and froze his off regularly.  We tried all sorts over the counter stuff, all of which was caustic and nasty.  The warts just kept coming back.  After years of struggling, my aunt sent us a tube of Virgo (or maybe Vergo?) Wart Remover in the mail and said it had worked wonders on my cousin.  My brother tried it on some of his worst warts and they disappeared in a matter of weeks, not just the ones he treated, but ALL of them.  Soon after, I started using it as well and had the same results.  My cousin lived 4 states away and he and I (female) were the same age while my brother was 3 years younger than us, so there was nothing in common but the Virgo.  Despite what I've seen the doctors say about this stuff on forums, I know it worked!  No warts for any of us for 20+ years.  Now I would like to find the stuff for a friend.  As I recall, it was non-caustic and it had a sort of creamy/lumpy consistency and a distinct, though not unpleasant, odor.  If anyone knows where the product could be found (US, outside the US, anywhere) or what the active ingredient was, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For small warts, several medications (like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts. Other treatment options include electrical cautery, Carbon dioxide laser treatment and electrodesiccation.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I have used this product also. I had planters warts on the end of one finger when I was pregnant, over 35 years ago. Virgo was recommended by my Dr. It took the warts away in just a few days and they never came back. I wish I could find it again.

My mother used to use Vergo for cold sores and it was very effective.  I checked the active ingredient and found it said it used a vitamin B5 complex (pantothenic acid).  Later they changed the product to use Salicylic acid, the same as all the others, and shortly afterwards went out of business.
