Hello,i would like to know if you can help me in any way.. i have pain on both sides on my back more towards the middle of back to the sides.. could this be my lungs. i get very fatigue,tired like a little breathless at time that i have to take deep breathes..i'm also feeling body ache,chest pain shoulder pain..but if i lay on either side omg it hurts so much please any info would be greatly appreciated,

Hi,
Lung tissue is poorly supplies with nerve endings, so pain is not transmitted very well from lung lesions. However, the lining of lungs called pleura, is able to percieve pain.

Hi,
With a chronic cough and back pain, you need to see a doctor to investigate reason for your symptoms.
There could be many reasons for your problems - infection, lung conditions, inflammatory conditions, and a few other diseases.
You should be a good physical exam, x ray of the chest, and baseline blood tests. This will help narrow down the possible differential diagnoses.
Meanwhile, you may benefit from steam inhalation, OTC painkillers, and cough suppressants.

i forgot to mention not sure if any help i have had this cough for a very long time at least going on a year..
