I can't use steroid inhalers. Side effects using Advair: adrenal fatigue, panic attacks, excess mucus (difficulty in expelling because of dryness), sinus headaches, coughing and choking. If I had stayed on this poison I would not have mde it through the coming winter.
I will look up Symbicort and Oxeze, neither of which I have ever taken. I tried Spiriva once for a few days, but found it drying. That may because I was also on Advair at the time,so may try again. Thank you for your suggestions.
Oh, what sort of side effects do you get from asthma inhalers? Personally I find that they don't bother me at all. I'm currently using Symbicort 400ug x 4puffs/day along with oxeze 12ug x 3puffs/day (long acting bronchodilator). They work well in controlling my asthma symptoms. The only symptom that doesn't go away is a chronic cough due to excess lung mucous. The long lasting bronchodilator should only be used together with a steroid inhaler. This is a website that will help identify other drugs you can use. Spiriva I have heard is good for COPD.
