GROUPED AMORPHOUS CALCIFICATIONS

Has anyone had a mammo that test results were grouped amorphous calcifications. I have to go back for more views.

Please share what your experiences were.

Thanks

The only concern is the cluster of microcalcifications noted and these clusters can often indicate some future problem. It does not mean though that this will be an indication of cancer. Clustered microcalcifications can indicate a benign condition in many cases.Your next mammogram (spot compression mammogram) will determine if you'll need a biopsy or just close monitoring the calcification.Best wishes.
