stomach ache with vomiting

My boyfriend has been vomiting now for the past 6 months. It started out as dry heaves in june now its turned into vomiting, when he will eat lunch or dinner a few hours later he will puke it all up. He's always complaining about his stomach hurting and half the time pushing on his stomach helps realve the pressure from his stomach. As well after about 10pm he's very hungry again. His vomiting is getting worse its more frequent and his stomach pain is also getting worse, ginger ale and crackers don't help with the stomach pain either. Why is it that pushing lightly onto his stomach helps with the pain?? Please someone help me with this he's been suffering long enough.

This has gone on way too long. Your boyfriend needs to see a doctor ASAP!  Chronic vomiting and pain is a symptom of many diseases and can only be diagnosed by a doctor.

If he doesn't get medical help, he could become severely dehydrated, which can cause heart damage!!!!!
