We had 12 eggs retrieved, but only 4 fertilized.  Only 2 were able to be transferred-I am now 23 weeks pregnant.  Best of luck to you!

I am 38 1/2. From my last ivf in October I had 13 eggs, 12 fertilized. After three days from the retrieval 5 of them stopped growing and had to be discarded. So there were 7 good quality embryos left. Three of them were trf but no pregnancy. And now in January I am going to do the frozen cycle (because I still have four frozen embies left). That will be my fourth attempt to get pregnant using ivf. I never got pregnant and I do not have an answer why my embryos do not want to implant. I am hoping this time it will work.Personally, I think that my age is the major factor why it is hard for me to get pregnant.

I know someone who just got pregnant with creating 20 eggs & 14 fertalized.....sounds great right????  Can you believe only one, Yes one was good to transfer & she got pregnant.  She is now 6 weeks.......so ya never know.

I am 37 & had 7 eggs.  Four of them fertalized & transfered two & although I was pregnant...I m/c at 6 weeks.  We will try again but first have to have d & C on wednesday.

Good Luck to you!!!

It's not about the number of eggs. You could retrieve 2 good quality eggs or 10 good quality eggs.
