How are you/did you celebrate New Year's?

Being full term, I just don't feel motivated to do much, so DH and I are staying home.  Once DS is tucked away in bed - which DH is seeing to now - we're going to have some appetizers and watch a movie :-)

Kinda boring, I know, but it's about all I can handle right now.....

I have been cramping pretty bad, so I am was too tired to stay up. We made a big dinner of appetizers for our daughter and watched Ghostbusters, then got her to bed. DH tucked me into bed at 9.  I got up at 11:45, rang in the New Year with him and our dog, checked on our daughter, and was back in bed by 12:15.  Went back to sleep, then did the usual up every hour to go to the bathroom and switch positions.  Pretty boring but was nice to not be all sleep-deprived yesterday; even though we layed around and did nothing since DH is sick with a head cold :P

I spent it at home in pre-term labor.. :) The meds they gave me to stop the contractions ended up affecting my heart so they have been discontinued. Now that I am 35 weeks they say it is better for me and the baby to have him born. However the contractions have settled down. :)  Hoping to make it another 2 weeks.

I am 37 weeks and don't feel like to celebrate new year... I went to bed at 9:30pm new year eve.. hoping to have baby on New Year day but didn't happen... So I guess I could go into labor anytime... If not.. will schedule induce on Jan 11th...

I didn't make it to midnight..I am over 38 weeks HUGE with a headcold..I am miserable and I want to POP.  But Conrates to all who have new babies and hope all is well.  Happy New Year!!
