After a 9 month wait to have my HSG, I experienced the same issues as others, two different radiologists said my cervix was obscured and despite struggling for forty odd minutes to carry out the HSG procedure, had to admit defeat and leave it. They said there are two other options but the consultant gynaecologist would be informed and would discuss it at a later date. I'm approaching 39 and my husband and I have been trying for several years. We both have children from previous relationships but it's only in the last 18 months since we moved to another GP has any type of tests been carried out to locate the cause of my infertility.

Hi,
I went for a HSG today and had the same experience you described. I'm 44 and TTC for the first time. I was wondering what you've learned?
