got a similar problem. Body numb down left side, right side now, but not as bad, pains in muscles, like cramp pain but muscles don't tighten like cramps. Started as a pain in my left pinky and ring fingers, hand went numb slowly spread up my arm, over a number of months, then shot through my entire left side over a number of days when it reach my shoulder.

Skin doesn't seem to register sensations properly, like heat and cold. Hot is hotter, and cold can even feel like it burns. Get pins and needles more rapidly than normal, if I exert myself physically my muscles will hurt badly after, and I get migraines that are proceeded by "blooms" in my vision. Migraines stay for days and the light bloom never seems to entirely vanish either. (like staring into a camera flash)

Left side feels heavier and weaker than the right side of my body, always tired, even if I get 8 hours sleep I feel like I could go right back to sleep.

Saw a neurologist he can't find anything on the MRI's he viewed, and is giving me the impression he thinks it's psychosomatic.

This has been interfering with my life for about 3 years now, I hate how it feels, have always been fit, healthy and physically active, and pretty unstressed with life and need answers or cure, coming across this thread and similar, might be time to have my thyroid checked.

Doctors, if they don't know what it is, then it must not exist. ****** attitude for them to have IMO.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism over the Thanksgiving holiday. Extreme fatigue, weight gain of 30 lbs in five months, joint pain, cold - no sweating all summer, and slight numbness in lower side of face on one side that extended to upper neck area and one leg also numb on and off. The doctor put me on 50 mcg's of Levothyroxine and the numbness has increased 100 fold and has spread into my arm, hands and fingers, and the entire side of my face. At times my arm feels like a lead weight. Evidently this is a miserable disease and the side effects of the meds are even worse?  What a life this is going to be.

Even if you are taking b12 supplements, it may not be enough -- I have to have shots as I don't absorb what I take orally.  Good to get levels tested to be sure.

How about vitamin b12?  Also, when you get thyroid tests done, ask for the antibody tests to confirm/rule out autoimmune disease.
