buried micro penis

My son was born with buried micro penis and I am very concerned about his future. He is now 4 years old and very full of life. I can't stop worrying about this condition. When he reaches puberty and will start to realize he is different, when he starts to realize what other boys and girls are getting up to , will he be able to have a normal sex life when he is older? I can't seem to find any kind of 'cure' or rectification for his condition. I am very worried indeed that this could affect him in a psycological way, I know how cruel other boys and girls can be.
Is there anything I can do? Is there anyone else out there with experience in this subject? I just don't know what to do...

Good luck, Brent.

Brent is right. But beware the urology quakery.

Genetic technology/advancement needs to be utilized to solve these problems before they ever happen. ('Razor blade solutions' suck.) Get that whole "they're making nazi clones--stop them" thing out of your heads.

Society needs genetic techno/advance desperately. (But mankind will probably screw that up too. [sigh])

Until them I would strongly consider and recommend "termination" in-utero. You're doing the fetus a favor.

Hi, you need to have your son go in to see a urologist immediately. Your son will then be referred to a plastic surgeon that will be able to correct this congenital defect. I had a buried penis up through college and finally had my surgery. I have gone through a lot socially, and I would never wish this on anyone. Please do this for your son now, while he is still young. Don't let him grow up throughout life ashamed and feeling out of place.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like it can be a trapped penis or buried penis. Due to obesity fat pad at the base of the penis conceals the penis and penis is hidden or buried within the suprapubic fat pad. This is common in children. For this losing weight or reducing the suprapubic fat by getting a tummy tuck operation during adulthood can help. The other option is surgical release of penis in adulthood. My sincere advice would be to consult a urologist and discuss this with him.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
