Sinuses blurred vision

I had 20/15 vision my whole life. When I was 26 I moved into an apartment. I noticed the apartment was musty, had a mildew smell to it. Within days I had sharp headaches above and around my eyes - blurred vision would result. This went on for months - the only time I had relief was when I was away from the environment for a few days - then total relief would come - perfect vision, no headache, no swelling in the eyebrow area. This has gone on several years - I moved out of the apartment after a few months, but I believe I moved whatever it is I am allergic to with me. Aleve, Sudafed and eye drops all provide temporary relief. All tests showed nothing - but I can tell a distinct difference when affected and when not....I feel for everyone on here that knows the misery and frustration - to include doctors (opthalmologists, neuro, ENT, etc) all having no answer or understanding....I am 35 now and still live with it everyday.

I'm having sinus issues (long story) and vision changes and was wondering what you meant when you say you have "light trailers in your peripheral vision"?

I had similiar blurred vision problems and sinus congestion.  I was very worried, taking all kinds of allergy meds, saw eye MD, ENT, had MRI's etc.  I quit caffeine and it seemed to cure my problem!  Why this is I have no idea.  I thing the caffeine must have been constricting blood vessels or something.  I love coffee and tea but am very careful to avoid it.  I had a vitamin water the other day that I didn't realize had caffeine added and had the symptons back within 10 minutes!  It's worth a try.

So weird you should word your post as you did.
Last night I stayed at my mother's places, who is turning 85 next month. As she is older she does not get around to some activities she should, like airing out rooms she doesn't use, shaking out andr refreshing blankets and sheets and vacuuming. Also, she tries to save money by keeping the thermostat low, which means the room I stay in sometime seems almost damp.
Last night, right after re-organizing the sheets and blankets on my bed I got tightness in my nasal cavity, pain behind my eyes, followed by a headache, top of my head, mostly to the left. Also, for the first time in my life, I also saw light trailers in my peripheral vision for about an hour. Kinda scared me. My mom only had Tylenol, so I took that. Things seemed to improve.
Then I slept the night in the same bed. Just about an hour ago it happened again, only this time gangbusters: my full peripheral vision closed off by the light trailers and the headache started again. I happened to have some Cold and Sinus analgesic, so I took that. Literally, within 10 minutes my vision has cleared any my headache has currently subsided to a dull thud.
Makes me think you might be on to something...
