EBV & CFS!! or is it Fibromyalgia??
Hello!
I'm 26yrs old female.
i have been suffering for more than a year from a very weird symptoms that no Dr. could figure out what is from exactly!!
all my blood tests and x-rays were always normal..
1 week ago only a result came that i have a high WBC which was 12.5, the Dr. told me that i have a severe
Epstein Barr Virus infection for more than 7months he told me this is the reson of my CFS, he gave me isoprinsone and lovir medicine for ten days and he said that i will get better soon!!
Now im realy confused if the WBC means that i have a virus infection and wether this EBV is causing the CFS?
also if its effect the body with other diseases? as tge result was the i have 260+ EBV-IGg and 100+ EBV-Ebna1 IGg??? actually i didnt understand what is the difference between this kinds EBV?
im so in pain all the time> im always dizzy with a bad headache i can't go to work wnymore. i can't think and concentrate>i have a pain im chest with difficultyto swolling food and tablets, i started to feel so depressed as my life is ending soon. i took too many pain killers and nothing help, i realy started to lose myself and thinking of giving up until i die... i dont have hope anymore as my bf is trying his best to help me but it makes me so sad that most of the time im tired and cant do activities like a normal person... i need help please!! the pain is killing me! i need to find a Dr. that i can trust!! they were all telling me that i look find and healthy but they dnt know how i feel!! they even told me that i have nonthing and they were jocking about me that im spoiled and sensitive and the i need maybe someone to love me!!!!! but ofcourse its not true im suffering from a serious health problem and if no one help me i will end my life cuz of the pain, i cry everyday cuz of the symptoms i have, sometimes i cant breath my body shivers and i feel i will have aheart attack!! i also jump of bed during sleeping, i need to know why this is happening to me! i wat to live a normal healthy life its became a dream! i cant even eat without having weird reactions like difficulty breathing, itchy head, pin in my chest..im trying to survive!!
i still have more a nd more dramatic scary symptoms and reactions i feel everyday
i want to know is this all from EBV only?? is the medicine he dr gave me will make me better or its not enough?
i already started taking it for 3days and i feel no difference at all!!
i wish that i find answer for my questions!

Hmmmm...I see yes you did mention those meds. I just wasn't familiar with them. I would definitely go to the National Fibro Asso. website and try to find a FMS doctor who is familiar with Fibro and CFS. I think that is your best bet. Good luck.

I am so sorry to hear about your illness. You need to seek out a doctor who understands what you are going through and perhaps the one you are seeing now just doesn't get it. It sounds like you may have FMS or CFS, but you need to be evaluated by a Fibro Friendly Rheumatologist in my opinion.
You can search for one of those types of providers by going to the National Fibromyalgia Association's website www.fmaware.org/. Go there and register- registration is free. Once you do, you'll be able to search their provider database and find a very helpful doctor who will be able to treat you properly and who will get you on the right medications. What med are you currently taking if you are comfortable sharing?
