Dizzy spells , nearly falling over, feelings

I started to have spells where I was walking then suddenly feeling of falling side was to the floor. Was not spinning though. It increase over the past 4 months to the point of having several in one day, one right after another, I had to go to the hospital. Had all kinds of scans blood tests and so on, no one ever checked my sinuses even after I said, I am a repeat polup patient and had two surgeries.
I am home, over two weeks, on prednizone, and antibiotics for a week with one, now coming down to two preds a day, and I had my first spell sense coming home, Easter Sunday. Very discouraged. I can not get into my ENT for two weeks yet, should I be concerned. It is all heavy pollen season now. I am highly sensitive to my allergies and they have no way to fix it,  unless I take shots , that are exerimental or on Prednizone.

I am worried that if I have polups, after two years of my last operation, could they be so large they may be hurting my brain, and would that not have shown up on the brains scans, one cat the other so ultra sound. I can't get in to see the Brain doctor for two weeks either. Am I taking a huge chance.

I think you should be ok to wait a little over a week.  Just know if you feel you are getting worse or think you need immediate attention get to the ER.  You are probably freaked out over all this and your nerves are shot; very understandable.  I am in the same boat you are but I have 4 WEEKS to wait for my appointment with a Neurosurgeon.  Try to relax.

I had the MRI too, just waiting for my doc appointment in a little over a week. I was hoping to get in right away. Then they will go over all the findings with me. Too bad they do not look at them now and if they think I should do something right away, tell me.

I don't think that the polyps will affect your brain, but sinus problems can cause balance issues; I have heard of that.  I would definitely go to the ER if your symptoms get worse before you see the specialists.  I don't think you are taking a huge chance at this time.

Your CT and US were ok?  Hopefully one of the specialists will order an MRI of the head with contrast to get a better view.

Keep us posted.
