What meds are available?

I have been having these palpitations, skipped beats, (PVC/PAC), my doctor calls them,  for a few months now.  Done every test in the medical profession that is available.  They found nothing abnormal except that my Potassium was slightly off!  That was since corrected with a daily dose of Potassium...yet the skipped beats/extra beats (PVC/PAC) continues!

I was told that it's stress related, adjusted my work schedule but they continue.  My cardiologist told me I needed to take a vacation, and dismissed it like it's all in my head.  I could be resting they start, sometimes even waking me from a deep sleep.  Sometimes they are so strong, they make me cough!  My cardiologist stopped me from taking Atenolol a beta-blocker because my heart rate is always in the 50's and sometimes high 40's.

A few years ago, during an epigastric attack, I went into A-Fib!  Was hospitalized for a week!  EKG, ECG, Electrophysiological tests, hormone tests, thyroid tests, lab tests all came back NORMAL!  I'm tired of these attacks, they are very scary, intimidating and I often think I'm going to die.  I remember my first attack as a child, I had a panic attack which caused the abnormal rhythm to start.

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW OF A DRUG THAT CAN HELP WITH THESE IRREGULAR BEATS (PVC/PAC) WITHOUT LOWERING  AN ALREADY LOW HEART RHYTHM?  Please help!  It's been too long now, and although my doctors cannot find the reason behind my attacks, they are getting worse, and I fear that they will continue to do so!

There are drugs that treat irregular heart rythyms, but if your doctor(s) have not prescribed them after all the testing you have been through I would have to ask them why.  Those drugs come with a lot of side effects that are damaging and some are irreversible.  Have you discussed this with your doctor?

you may be causing the palps by worrying over them, i get them and if i think about them they start again. i get  panic attacks and i have to ignore them not think about them at all they went away, some docs will prescribe an anti-depressant to help with the thought process
