does the lumps which u answered in my previous questions has something to do with this and also indigestion and back pain. is this some kind of STD or has anthing to do with this... kindly answer
Hello,
FNAC(fine needle aspiration cytology) is slightly painful because aspiration of the fluid is done by a fine gauge needle (22 or 25 gauge) and a syringe. Sometimes the surrounding tissue may be anesthetized with a small hypodermic needle. But mostly it is not preferred because administering the anesthesia tends to cause more pain for the patient than the procedure itself. Also, lidocaine (an anesthesia) may cause artifacts to appear in the cytology sample when examined under the microscope.
I feel that talking to your doctor about your apprehensions for pain will help as he may take measures like prescribing painkillers after the procedure. Don’t worry about the slight pain (if you are to get FNAC done)as the usefulness of the procedure is far ahead of the pain. Also since you are having abdominal pain and yellow urine, kidney stones and causes need to be explored. Drink plenty of water and other fluids throughout the day.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Does this all add up and could you suggest what could be done
Hello,
From the symptoms they can be small cysts or small benign skin growths. Since they have been present without any change for a long time, I will suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Investigations like fine needle aspiration biopsy may be needed to confirm the diagnosis.
