IUD symptoms?

I had IUD put in The end of June 2009..Recently I have noticed a lot of "issues" I dont know why I am having these problems...Dizzy, lightheaded, headaches, sleepy, unhappy, irritable, on edge, sometimes feel like I have no strength to even walk...I do have a thyroid disorder and I am on medication for it as well as vitamin B ...I am not pregnant but I have almost every symptom I had during pregnancy even hot flashes.  With work and my crazy schedule I have had to reschedule my last two doc appointments.  Could these symptoms be from the IUD?

This is amazing! I fell 100% better and your right the acne is just going away, I feel less bloated and I have dropped a couple pounds of water weight. My doc said to do a 7 day detox and thats what its called if you want to get one. It's for the whole body and helps you rid the toxins that have built up. I truly feel great, I know I'm going to have to work off this weight but I feel "unplugged" and ready to go!

Hi, I got my Mirena out less then a week ago because of all the symptoms your describing and now I already feel better! I started my period 3 days after removal seems how I didn't have one on it! No more on edge!!! I had mine for about 15 months and about 6 months into it I started having these symptoms. The doctors will never admit it but yes these are symptoms from the Mirena you will not believe the hundreds of others experiencing them! Once again not even a week after I already feel better and am not on edge! I was having sever anxiety attacks almost every day and not one since!!! Its been nice that I am actually feeling "normal" again!

to answer your question yes. I had mine put in October 09' and I am getting it removed as soon as I get insurance.  There are some woman it works wonderfully for but then there are woman like us that it make miserable:~( I constantly feel pregnant. With being hormonal, weight gain and abdomanl pain. If I wanted to feel like this I would have another baby, lol!  You have to weigh the pros and cons and deside if you want to keep using it or find another form of BC.
After re reading your post you might want to see your doctor and dissuss what eles it could be, to me it does sound like your IUD, but you should still get checked out. Best of luck!

Yes! You should figure out whether or not you are willing to deal with it. I have had mine since sep 2008 and the first year was great but after that everything went down hill. I can't tell you how many issues  I have with this thing. I'm having it removed Mon!!!! Never will I do it again and also now they cant find the strings and will have to do a "special procedure" to get it out. I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do! So think about it carefully!
