What does Spiritual warfare mean to you?
Do you believe in Spiritual warfare? If so, how does it manifest itself to you? What do you do to counter and overcome?

I think often times we think that the greatest battle ever waged on this planet is terrorism, world war 1& 2 and communism but the real battle is over our souls.
I spent a lot of time thinking about what is means to be a christian and I got to thinking that many Christians have no idea how real this battle is. Whenever I look into history and the Bible I am so blown away how accurate the Bible is. I simply cannot doubt that this is TRUTH. I wish so much that people would look into it, see for themselves. Just give God a chance for 1year and I guarantee that you won't want anything more. You'll have the joy and peace that nothing else can give you in this world.
Overcoming to me is spending time with Jesus. If we want to be strong in our walk with the Lord—if we want to be strong in our family, our church, and our community—we must exercise our spiritual muscles. As we enter the final moments of this earth’s history, we need to increase our spiritual exercise to strengthen ourselves for the battle that lies just ahead. We need to engage in the exercise of prayer—personal and intercessory. We need to exercise our benevolence for soon the time will come when it will be too late to invest in the cause of Christ. We need to exercise God-given gifts of hospitality, organization, music, and physical strength to help give the final message of mercy to this world. We are physical and spiritual beings, and both aspects need to be properly exercised in order to fight the good fight. Satan comes at us in all directions and by guarding the avenues to our souls we limit temptation. By beholding we become changed - whatever we focus on is what we become like...
Eph 6:10-17 (NIV) ...Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
It's just so real to me that there is spiritual warfare because as time goes on it's christians being hated for doing good. It's prophecy being fulfilled and just how the world is I see that there is a battle for our souls. You cannot avoid temptation it's everywhere - magazines, tv etc...
