How is everyone doing?

Hi ladies, it has been a long time since we have updated each others. We used to be such a busy online group and now rarely I hear from anyone. So I thought to give it a world and see how are you and your babes doing.
Around here James and I are doign well, he keeps me busy, I mean it the guy is evrywhere, running, dancing, climbing any where he can climb. So much energy that at times he wears me out or better all the time.
He is 14 months now, he can walk well, loves dancing with Mickey Hot dog dance, loves cars can say a few words like, sippy cup, bath, mama, papa, panda, dog, yummy, car, but mostly he can repeat some single words we say to him, the rest is a lot of gagagaga, mamama, papapa all the time.

His eating habits are overall o.k, some days he eats great and others not much. He is eatign pretty much adult food excpet I usually moisten and softened a bit for him. Has 1 molar and 8 teeth by now.
Sleeping through thenight and still taking 2 naps the issue is to get him to sleep, he fights it all the time, jumps in the crib, shakes the rails, yells, cries, ect, but after a whole hour of this he falls asleep.
Still drinking milk from abottle and success with sippy cups, loves drinking from a regular cup and from water bottles.
Games he likes- story time, coloring time, chasing each other around the house, and bath time.

Awww. I Love reading about what our little ones are doing!  Cooper is about 13.5 months now, standing on his own but not walking yet.
He says 3 words: dada, jax (grandma's dog!) and E-i (big brother, Eli).  I'm just a little offended that mama hasn't come yet, especially since the *dog* apparently rates higher than me!

Wow.... How babies are getting so big so fast.....

Well Hunter is growing growing growing..........He is 14 months, He is 33 1/2 inches, and weighs in at 28lbs, he is kind of losing his weight now that he crawling around everywhere. He will go back to his check up for his 15 month apt next month, not looking forward to this appointment, because before his appointment I have to take him to get blood work done so they can test him for Lead.....Poor guy and then I'm not sure if he will get more shots at this appointment or not???? He is so funny, he scoots, and then he will drag his one leg behind when he crawls. He is not walking yet, but he holds onto everything and walks around, he does very well standing for a couple of minutes and then falls and crawls, he will walk holding our hand with one hand. He too loves dancing to the Hot Dog Dance, he just LOVES micky Mouse that is his favorite, that was the theme for his 1st Birthday.....he has been loving dancing to that song since he was couple months old.
He loves to eat... Oh my goodness, and loves those mild cheeder cheese curls, he still drinks from the bottle for his milk, but the rest he drinks from a sippy cup with the straw.. he just started drinking some juice but really has no care for it to much, and mainly drinks water & milk. Which I'm glad.....!! Rather steer away from Juice.
He is talking up a storm......He says Bye, Bye, Hi, Mama, Daddy, Mamaw, Wee Wu, Doggie, Kitty Kitty, Tree, Light, More, and when we say something he pretty much repeats what we want him to say, such a smart little boy, he is always so happy!!! He has a total of 8 teeth, and 1 molar that has popped in and another starting....!! We take him back to the doctor today for a re-check on his ear, he has had a ear infection and has been on 2 rounds of antibotics, and I'm kind of feeling like the infection is still there because he has been pulling at it, just upsets me because every since he was I think 6 or 7 months old I've been telling them he has been pulling at his ears and they said oh he probably just finding his ears nothing is the matter they are not red.....!!!!! UGh needless to say if he isn't better today we are going to a specialist next.
We just back from a 2 week vacation in FLA, Hunter wasn't a fan to much of the Beach Water... but loved the sand and the pool, did not want out of the pool. He loves splashing around.....
Hunter also can count to 3.....and hold up his fingers......Such a biggie boy!!! But Growing up way to fast for mommy.......He is still taking 2 naps during the day, some vary 1-2 hours just all depends and sleeps through the night which he has been doing since he was about 3 months old.

Lochlyn is now 13.5 months. He doesn't walk without his walking toys yet (although he definitely could seeing as how he shuffles, waves his arms around, smashes toys together and dances while standing) He is very active but I have my place totally baby proofed so he is allowed to just go. He climbs everything though!

He eats EVERYTHING! he would eat all day if I let him. If he eats before me when I sit to eat my dinner he climbs me and screams untill I share it with him. He drinks from a straw, water bottle or a cup if I hold it for him.

He says "Mommy" but mostly when he is whining. He will say "Da-id" if David leaves the room and he wants him same with "Arah" for Sarah. He has said "Night" and "Nama" for Grandma. But mostly he points to stuff and says "what's that?"

He loves his walking toys, his wooden spoons, reading (but only for short periods of time) and climbing all his toys. He has a shopping cart walker that he has figured out how to climb into and stand in the basket!

He throws wicked temper tantrums! He throws himself down on the floor, or clings to my leg and throws his head back to scream. But he is mostly happy. As long as he gets his two naps a day.

He just started day care while I'm in college and he is in with a 15 month old and 13 month old who both walk really well so I don't think it will be long. He's already getting braver and standing just for the sake of standing a lot more.

Oh yes! Cash is the same way!  He doesn't want to play with me much.  He just wants to be on the move.  He doesn't really stop to play much just go, go, go and will randomly stop at toys and play for like a minute and then move on!
He too wants to "read" on his own - if I try to take the book from him to read he gets mad and takes it away and starts babblying to me.  I try to read to him when I can, but lately he hasn't given me much opportunity.

Wow our little ones are growing quickly! Well Medina will be 15 months next week, and she, too, is one incredibly active toddler, always go go go! Also when she sleeps, she crawls and moves about heaps!

Medina is a bit reluctant to walk. She really started a few weeks ago, had been taking a few steps since 12 months but has good and bad days, spends most of her time crawling and climbing. She is starting to really annoy our cats, she has started to be a bit rough with them but she cuddles them alot too. I only let Medina watch Sesame Street and she loves the opening theme, starts singing which is cute, and she likes to dance and clap.

She doesn't like to play with me much anymore, anyone else's tot like that? I get quite sad, but I guess they are becoming more independant. Sometimes I try and play with her and she doesn't want to, so I let her come when she wants. She spends alot of time walking and crawling and chasing the cats, 'reading' instead of playing with her toys. Any others like that? She LOVES vacuuming and the washing machine. I am going to get her her own 'vacuum cleaner', so she can help me out. She still loves water alot, is definately a water baby.

Medina has good and bad eating days, but they are MUCH better. She eats almost any veggie and fruit. We have problems with bigger pieces but hoping with her molars it will be better. She has 8 teeth and she's teething, I'm pretty sure they're her first molars.

Medina wants to be outside the whole time. We've had bad weather here and I got operated on last week so we haven't been to the playground much which is quite sad. She loves kids of all ages and is very social. She loves her books so much, that she even eats them lol. Not a fan of that.

Talking, well mama, papa, nose (in German), more (in German), she has her own version of bye bye (ta ta LOL?????), water (in Arabic), naughty (in Arabic), and repeats some words. She has an excellent comprehension of both languages.

Tantrums, well we have them every now and then, I mainly ignore but also redirect. She naps once a day, usually 2-2.5 hours. Sleeps around 10-11 hours a night.

Love hearing how our tots are doing! Hope everyone is well :-)

No girl! Dont feel bad!  Sometimes we get to a breaking point too! We are only human! Plus, I agree, the more we react the more they do it!

Cash is 14 months old and at the 95% in weight and height, so he is a big boy!  He loves to eat, but I have to be careful about giving him options.  If I give him all his food at once he will pick one thing and eat all of that and then cry for more and refuse to eat the other items.  So I have to give him his veggies first, then carbs, then meat.  He eats it up then - bc he thinks that's all he's getting. LOL!
He still doesn't really like to drink milk, but then again, he doesn't really want to drink anything!  I'm lucky if I get 12oz of fluids in him in a day.  I am constantly putting it in his face, but he his just so busy that he doesn't want to stop to drink.  If I force it on him (by holding him in my lap) - he cries and clamps his mouth shut - so that doesn't work.
He is busy busy busy though!  He walks and runs and climbs and crawls and every other imaginable thing.  He is fascinated by putting his toys "in" things.  He will put stuff in the trashcan, in the clothes basket, in my rain boots, anywhere something can be stuck - he puts it there!  I am missing quiet a bit of my things and I'm pretty sure they may have found there way to the trash can :-(
He loves to dance and tries to sing along.  He will repeat anything we say to him - really funny sometimes.  His favorite words are mama, daddy, bye bye, no no, puppy, tickle tickle, quack quack, yum yum,
He loves to be outside -although we have got to get him some age appropriate toys for outside.  He likes to splash in the bath tub, but not a fan of water on his face.  He claps when he's happy about something and squeals.  He also walks around babbling constantly - not sure about what - it's quite funny.
One new thing he has started doing is when he has to poop he goes to a private area and bends down to do his "business".  He will get under his high chair, under a bar stool, or hide behind the kitchen table in the corner.  Is anyone else's little ones doing this?
And yes, he throws fits, but we try to redirect or just let him go and ignore him.
He usually sleeps 12 hours at night and takes one 2-3 hour nap at midday.  Although for the last three nights he has been waking up at night and crying uncontrollably.  Not sure what that's about.
Hope to hear from the rest of you!

You shouldn't feel bad bc they have to learn that you aren't going to react to the fits.  I tell Joel that he can throw a fit all he wants but he cant have whatever it is he is throwing a fit about.  I have found that the less i react to the fits the less he throws them .. when we are with other family he tends to throw a lot more fits bc they give into him.

kaprovea- je, je, je, I know what you mean by throwing fits, the last couple days all the sudden James has develpoed this Mr I want ti all attitude, now he will even throws himself on the floor and cry his eyes out if I move him away from something or take something away.
Today I got him inside bc started to rain and he wanted to keep playing outdoors, so once indoors he threw himself on the living room and started banging his head against it couple times (we have carpet) I feel awful after all but I looked at him and said.O.K James you can hit you head couple more times bc it seems is not hurting you enough.
Girls I truly feel bad now for saying that to him bc he is a baby and I shoudl have redirected him towards soemthing else but I was so tired of seeing him do the same thing twice that day.

Joel and I are doing pretty well.  He also is giving me a run for my money.  He isn't walking yet but does take a few steps on his own.  He is on his way to walking but loves to crawl all over the place and is also into everything.  He goes from room to room all day long and also wears me out.

He is 13 months old and  can say a couple of words, He says mama, dada, baby and daisy (our dog).  He can also repeat things that are said to him and tries to repeat it.

His eating habits are also ok.  He used to be a great eater until he turned 1 and then as been some days are good and some days are bad.  He eats fruit very well all the time but sometimes won't eat anything else.  He used to all vegetables and now will only eat corn.  He drinks milk out of sippy cup.

He loves to be read to all day long.  We read the same stories over and over.  I get tired of it sometimes.  He also has started throwing awful fits once he turned 1 whenever you don't give him what he wants.
